The Ops-Core Mounted Package provides a complete solution with everything you need to interface with a standard ground combat vehicle intercom system(ICS).
These packages come in two configurations: this system can be mounted in conjunction with our comms ready LX9 Liner System and worn headbanded under a standard ground combat helmet. This setup alleviates the need for two separate helmets and/or comms systems to be used when executing mounted and dismounted mission sets.
The connectorized AMP headset allows for easily switching cabling between body worn PTT/Radios and a vehicle ICS via a 3-way AP107 cable that interfaces with the vehicle bailout cable, while the dual hearing protection with NFMI earplugs provides 34 dB of noise reduction for high noise environments while preserving 3D hear-through and clarity of communications, passing them directly through to the ear.
When dismounting, the connectorized AMP headset can be quickly switched to a body worn PTT/radio setup and the NFMI earplugs removed for comfort/convenience as desired, providing a scalable solution depending on the mission set.
The Ops-Core Mounted Package with AMP for FAST Helmets is a bundle that includes the AMP Communications Headset, AP107 Cable, Rail Arm mounts, and NFMI (Near Field Magnetic Induction) Earplugs for high-noise environments. This kit is everything you need in one bundle to interface with the bailout cable and communicate through your ground combat vehicle VIC-3 intercom system. Everything included is compatible with all FAST High Cut Helmet Systems and includes:

- Single helmet solution - when mounted in a headbanded configuration with the LX9 Liner System installed underneath a standard ground combat helmet like an ACH or IHPS, the Ops-Core Mounted package provides the ability to quickly mount and dismount while easing the transition between comms systems without having to change helmets. This system helps reduce logistical burden, frees up storage space on the vehicle, and saves critical time during the transition between mounted and dismounted operations.
- Dual hearing protection with NFMI - Ground Combat Vehicles expose crewmen and operators to high-noise environments which can quickly damage hearing. Dual hearing protection is often required to mitigate these extreme noise levels, however wearing a standard earplug underneath a comms headset can muffle critical comms and situational noises that facilitate crew ops.
