The LX9 Liner System™ is designed for improved comfort during extended use and has improved breathability and absorbency compared to legacy systems. The liner system consists of a 9-Piece EPP and comfort foam pad set with an improved brow pad design for stability and comfort in a modular one-size-fits-all configuration. Using existing hook and loop mounting locations, the pad configuration can be modified to enhance user comfort, prevent hot spots, and allow room for headband mounted communications systems in a modular and lightweight package.

- Weight Reduction - The LX9 Liner System is a modular, one size fits all lightweight pad set that weighs under 66 grams (2.24 ounces) while providing a stable, comfortable, and protective liner system for ACH and ECH style combat helmets.
- Impact Protection - The LX9 Liner System meets AR/PD 10-02 in an ACH helmet and ECH style helmet. The LX9 Liner System is not currently FAT qualified in any ground helmet system.
- Ease of Installation - The LX9 Liner system is a drop-in replacement for most legacy liner systems, easily installing over existing hook and loop mounting locations and can be adjusted for user comfort.
- Comms Ready - LX9 crown pads can be removed to allow a channel for banded comms to comfortable fit under the helmet. (Please note that removing pads will change the impact performance of the pad set)
