Gentex offers an optional ANVIS Adapter Kit for both the HGU-56/P Platform and Quick Disconnect Dual Visor Housings. The quick disconnect kit contains two upper and two lower pins, as well as a backing plate to adapt the Night Vision Goggles to the HGU-56/P Rotary Wing Helmet and Velcro for attaching the battery pack. This modification will allow users a quick and easy installation and removal of the NVGs. The platform kit contains the screws to semi-permanently attach the NVG mount to the housing and moleskin patches to prevent the scratching of the visors.
